Junior High School
The K to 12 Basic Education Program of Tagum City National High School covers 4 years of education (from Grade 7 to Grade 10) to provide sufficient time for mastery of concepts and skills, develop lifelong learners, and prepare graduates for senior high school, and, ultimately, tertiary education, middle-level skills development, employment, & entrepreneurship.
In line with its thrust to strengthen Science and Mathematics education in the country, the Department of Education (DepEd), through the Bureau of Secondary Education (BSE), has officially implemented the Science, Technology and Engineering (STE) Program since 2004 in 112 schools nationwide.
This program aims to enhance the ability of learners to engage in meaningful interaction in a linguistically and culturally diverse global workplace. More importantly, the SPFL looks to further develop learners’ understanding and appreciation of other people’s culture.
This program aims to provide access to basic education among children with special needs, namely, the gifted/talented, the mentally retarded, the visually impaired, the hearing impaired, the orthopedically handicapped, the learning disabled, the speech defectives, the children with behavior problems, the autistic children and those with health problems through the formal system and other alternative delivery services in education.

The program now envisions to equip completers for senior high school sports track which is geared to produce graduates towards employment or higher learning in the field of sports and related areas.
The Enhanced Programs in Arts was originally conceived to address the needs of students with potential and talents in the arts namely: Music Visual Arts, Theater Arts, Media Arts, Creative Writing and Dance.
